My eternal Brooklyn Bridge

When I get off the train , usually the green line 6 « Brooklyn Bridge – City Hall » (I even can hear the subway noise right now). The feeling is the same, nothing have changed. THRILL !
Well, It was just a routine crossing ;-)  Big disappointment, the lock love that my mom and I have hung  on the bridge is not hooked anymore… They always remove them. Such a shame :-(
 Well enjoy the view !

Dear Miska welcome back home

It’s happening again, I’m back « home », in my beautiful America, home sweet home ! Many things happened since last time, big changes that litteraly upset my life, and I’m good. I would say, making changes can help you avoid feeling stuck in a rut. It’s true, you never believe it until it happens !
And I’m now here, in New York, from 9th december to 25th january. Living in Long Island with my auntie and my 4 cousins. I’m volunteer in a rehabilitation center « Broadlawn Manor » in Amityville, yeah right there from the horror story town (I’ll show you some pictures later).
If I were to sum up my days in few words, It’d be :  wake up at 7am, try to leave home at 9am, to catch the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) train at Amityville station near 9 :47am. One hour later I’m in NYC Penn Station. And then I live my dream.  Sounds good to me.

Rotterdam

When I hear "Rotterdam" I remember the final of Euro 2000, and I remember my idol, the former Italian goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, nosebleed... Too sad. But of course Rotterdam is more than a teenager soccer memory, it's a port city and the industrial capital of Holland.
When I found out there were babies skyscrappers I absolutly wanted and needed to visit it! Just to feel damn good around these high builings, remaining in Europe with a New Yorker touch. They call it the "Manhattan of the Meuse", and I like it even if, in my opinion, it's overvalued! Anyway, It was a sunny/rainy day. I really enjoyed to cross the Erasmus bridge, high and white. A very clean and educated city! I ate the BEST dim sum ever, and I could come back just to taste them again! I loved Amsterdam, and I'm now ok to love Rotterdam. the architecture is modern and atypical, like very square-shaped ! See the "cubics" houses! This city is like a huge cube which hides other little cubes and rectangles... I know what I mean.

Je me comprends.
